Matthew Sterling is a UK-based director with a strong instinct for framing, performance and storytelling. His work often lives where sport and fashion overlap, drawn to physicality, character and the small human moments that give images meaning. He’s directed films for brands including Emirates, Coca-Cola, EA Sports and New Balance, always aiming to make work that feels considered, cinematic and honest rather than overworked. Coming from a background in creative research, he's worked closely with filmmakers like Bradford Young and Alejandro G. Iñárritu, which shaped his eye for detail and intention on set. Alongside commercial projects, Matthew is currently developing his first feature film.
