FrameClub – FAQ
Everything you need to know about FrameClub
🧠 What is FrameClub?
FrameClub is a platform dedicated to visual creators — commercial directors, editors, motion designers, animators, and more.
It's a space to share, discover, and celebrate the best motion work, while highlighting every creative contributor involved in a piece.
But it's also made for the curious — people who love discovering great work, staying inspired, and following the best in visual storytelling.
🎬 Who can post on FrameClub?
Right now, FrameClub is in private beta — access is invitation-only.
In the future:
- Only approved members will be able to post videos or get credited.
- Visitors will enjoy a limited experience:
- Selected handpicked videos
- The Frame of the Month
- 3 video views and 3 profile views per month
Just enough to explore — and maybe want to join in. 😉
👥 Can I get credited on a video I didn't upload?
Absolutely. On FrameClub, each video exists only once.
No matter who uploads it, the video becomes shared, with all contributors credited.
If you were part of the project:
- You can join an existing video.
- Add your role (director, editor, etc.).
- Get visibility on the video page and your profile.
Likes, comments, and awards are shared across the team, like collective recognition.
📹 How can I post a video — Vimeo, YouTube, or direct upload?
There are three ways to post:
- Vimeo: Just paste the link. You can customize the thumbnail within FrameClub.
- YouTube: For music videos only. DRM prevents downloads, but they're embedded cleanly.
- Direct upload to FrameClub: The best option for stability and quality. You can upload up to 20 minutes per month.
🔥 What's a curator?
Curators are trusted FrameClub members chosen for their creative perspective and experience.
- They select the handpicked videos that appear in special feeds and the homepage.
- They vote internally for the Frame of the Month.
💸 How much does FrameClub cost?
Currently free for invited beta users.
We're working on a fair, low-cost subscription (monthly or yearly) to support the platform while keeping it accessible.
✏️ Who can edit a video's title, subtitle, or thumbnail?
To keep videos consistent across profiles:
- With 1–2 contributors: The uploader can edit the title, subtitle, and thumbnail.
- With 3 or more contributors: Edits are locked to keep things consistent.
We're building a collaborative editing system that respects each contributor's role.
📩 How can I join FrameClub?
FrameClub is currently in invite-only beta.
If you're interested in joining, you can request an invitation or get invited by an existing member.
